Andrew has over 20 years of experience with KPMG principally focused on major Corporate and Private Equity transaction due diligence and IPO project management.
Andrew has led the transaction execution support work on more than 300 significant transactions with an aggregate deal value of more than $100 billion with the majority being Private Equity sponsored or in the Media, Communications and Energy Sectors.
His major location experience include: London (5 Years), Sydney (13 Years) and New York (2 Years). In addition he has lead transaction teams in New Zealand, Japan, India, Canada, Ireland and Hong Kong.
His principal focus is on private equity transactions. Private equity sponsors he has acted for include: CHAMP Private Equity, Macquarie, KKR, Gresham, Goldman Sachs PIA, CSFB / DLJ, AMP Capital Investors, Deutsche Bank Capital Partners, TA Associates, Ripplewood, Veronis Suhler, Morgan Stanley and Texas Pacific Group. He has also assisted major US pension funds in analysing direct co-investment opportunities with Private Equity sponsors and acted as investigating accountant to the IPO of several Private Equity fund of funds.
Andrew has also acted as lead Investigating Accountant for many landmark public and private transactions including the Seven / Westrac Merger, Macquarie Media Group IPO, DUET's IPO, AUSTAR's refinancing, the consortium acquisition and listing of Dyno Nobel, the consortium acquisition of Boart Longyear, the consortium acquisition of the DBNGP, the acquisition by AGL of both Southern Hydro and Powerdirect
