Clive Boyce
Clive Boyce is responsible for the management of Funds SA's growth alternatives portfolio, which includes private equity and real estate private equity investments. In this role, he researches potential managers and investments, monitors existing managers and investments, and manages the overall mix and performance of the portfolio. Funds SA invests the funds of South Australia's public sector superannuation schemes and the investment funds of certain statutory authorities. It has a mature private equity program with a target exposure of approximately AUD1 billion.
Clive re-joined Funds SA in 2005 as an Investment Manager. Previously, he was Funds SA's senior financial officer from 1987 to 1996. In 1996, he moved to the South Australian Public Trustee Office, initially to establish and operate the back office aspects of its funds management operations. In 2001, he was appointed General Manager, Client Financial Services with responsibility for Public Trustee's client accounting, funds administration and client taxation services.
From 1981 - 1987, Clive worked at a major water utility in accounting and systems development roles.
Clive holds a Bachelor of Economics from Adelaide University and a FINSIA Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment.
