Peter Wiggs
Peter joined Archer Capital in 1997 and has managed the investment programme at Archer Capital since that date. He has led numerous transactions: Tasman Building Products, MCK, Signature Security, Banksia Wines, Hirequip, Tasman 2 and RED Paper Group. He is currently a director of Rebel/Amart, Cellarmasters and MYOB.
Peter is one of the longest-serving executives in the Australian private equity industry, having previously spent three years working as an executive in the private equity team at Rothschild Australia. During that time he was acting CEO of a portfolio company for 18 months, where he effected a major performance turnaround. Prior to is roles at Rothschild, Peter spent five years with Booz Allen & Hamilton, working on a variety of strategic and operational assignments for several large Australian companies in the healthcare, banking, insurance and consumer goods industries.
Peter has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Sydney.
