Philip Levinson
Philip Levinson is Managing Director in the Investor Relations & Business Development Group and is involved in raising capital for Blackstone's suite of PE and Real Estate Funds, maintaining client relationships and participating in the development of new products to meet the increasingly sophisticated needs of institutional investors. In late 2009, Philip relocated to Sydney from Singapore to establish Blackstone's office there.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Levinson was with RREEF, the global real estate, infrastructure and private equity platform of Deutsche Asset Management. Before that, he established and ran the Client Service team in Asia for LaSalle Investment Management. Mr. Levinson has over twenty years of experience in PE and Real Estate Fund raising, finance and development. He has worked with leading financial institutions throughout Asia, Australia and the UK.
Originally trained as a lawyer, Mr. Levinson is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a qualified mediator. Currently, he is a Director of the Asian Public Real Estate Association (APREA), and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
